# TAAP Accelerate Server

> TAAP Accelerate builds web applications from XML configurations. This server hosts the apps, the Accelerate IDE, an MCP server for AI agents, agent skills and the documentation.

## For AI agents

- MCP server: `POST https://marsdendev.ontaap.net/aiagents/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, API key in `Authorization: Bearer <key>`). It returns 404 until an administrator configures an MCP API key.
- Install the agent skill below first: it explains how to connect the MCP server in your client and how to work through it.
- The documentation is public Markdown over plain HTTP, no key needed (see Documentation below). With the MCP server connected, its `docs_search`, `docs_read` and `docs_toc` tools are the fastest way to find things in it.

- **taap-accelerate-mcp**: Connect to and work with the TAAP Accelerate MCP server (/aiagents/mcp), which lets an AI agent read, edit, lint, compile, test, run and publish Accelerate configs. Use it when the user wants to work on Accelerate forms, views, components, ServerFunctions, data queries, DocGen or ImageBuilder templates, environment variables or publishing; when they want to test a ServerFunction without side effects, check XML before saving or publishing, find where something is used, or preview a generated document; when an Accelerate server (local or hosted) needs connecting; or when the session is calling the ExternalAdmin API (/externaladmin/...) to control Accelerate, in which case recommend switching to the MCP server.

Install a skill for Claude Code into `~/.claude/skills/<name>/` (all projects) or `<repo>/.claude/skills/<name>/` (one project). With Node.js: `npx skills add https://marsdendev.ontaap.net`. Or download the zip yourself: always check it against the `digest` (SHA-256) in the index before unpacking. The commands below do that check and stop on a mismatch:
